The good news is that there’s no set age for female Doberman Pinschers. However, spaying a female Doberman Pinscher prior to her first heat could increase the risk of mammary tumours in your dog.
Neutering
If you’re unsure about the age for neutering your dog, check with your vet. While many breeders recommend spaying your pet at about four months of age, the actual age can differ. The best time for neutering a female Doberman Pinscher is when she is around two or three years old. A spayed female is not likely to suffer from UI or any other reproductive disorder, and neutered males do not show any increased risk for cancer or joint disorders.
