This community could be your customer base, it could be the demographic that your organization is committed to helping, or it could even be those that live near where your organization is located. Regardless of whether you are a for-profit business, or a non-profit organization, or anything in between, it is imperative that you reach out and engage with your community.

    Community events can either be digital or, in the future, in your store. The type of event you host will depend entirely on your business type. If you are a small boutique, you can host a week of repair or upcycling workshops to bring more people into your store. There are so many charities out there, and the fact is you are bound to have a charity near you that is at least tangentially related to your business.
