All New Tank Hero – Mauga!
With the introduction of Season 8, a brand-new Tank hero who goes by the name of Mauga has been revealed to players all around the world! This Overwatch Hero is a pierfect fit for someone who is willing to go to the front lines and take all the damage by himself. His abilities speaks volumes regarding this aspect with proof!
First, there is the “Overrun” Ability, where Mauga charges forward and stomps to launch enemies into the air, making him unstoppable during the animation. Next is the “Cardiac Overdrive,” where any of Mauga’s Allies present in his vicinity take reduced damage from his enemies and Mauga himself heals by taking more damage from the opponents themselves.
His “Berserker” Ability can change the tide of the battle he can gain temporary health when dealing critical damage towards his enemies and his “Cage Fight” Ability can deploy a barrier that traps himself and his enemies, making him gain unlimited ammo during the time Mauga and the enemies are present inside.

Year of the Dragon Event
The Year of the Dragon kicks off the Lunar New Year event in Overwatch 2 with the Mischief and Magic prop hunt making a comeback like never before in the game along with the past Lunar new Year modes and new rewards and skins awaiting for you in the shop!
The Mischief and Magic mode, which was introduced first in Season 5, is making a comeback with an updated ruleset and an additional map where you get to play a hide-and-seek game against other players pairing up either as a member of a team of Kiriko’s with the ability to shapeshift into a firework rocket, a paper lamp, or over a dozen other possible props, or a member of a team of Genji’s sword to hunt the other team down and see through their illusions.
Either catching the Kiriko’s or the ability to be able to use your Dragonblade will help you replenish your health and the team alternates with hiders and seekers, where the team with the most wins in the three rounds win.
Apart from that, three fan-favorite modes, such as, Capture the Flag, Capture the Flag Blitz and Bounty Hunter game modes are also returning into the fray, adding more fuel to the already action-packed season!
